My name's Mab
el, I'm currently 19 and I'm studying Journalism in the University of Chile.
I consider myself as a person who loves writing, reading, walking, traveling and surfing the web. Additionally, I'm interested in communications, knowing different cultures and society in general.
I'm very sensitive, sometimes too serious and of a bad mood, but honest and concerned about the environment and animals.
I like listening to indie and rock m
usic and my favorite band is Radiohead. In fact, I've created lots of mini-websites and fansites devoted to them (all of them are actually dead). However, I'm currently a member of the Chilean Radiohead community.
I'm not a geek or something, but I really love the web and all the things I can do on it, especially blogging and watching/uploading videos on YouTube. I like Facebook too, but I'm not a fan of it.

I also like watching The Simpsons on TV. My favorite character is Apu Nahasapeemapetilon. I don't know why but he inspires tenderness to me.
What I expect with blogs
When I created my first blog, I did with the mere purpose of have fun and "leisure" time. But when I really got involved with this "cyber-diary", then I wanted to post things of "public interest", especially things we can discuss on. So my main expectation with blogs is to open a discussion between my blog's readers and myself because I think the opinion of someone else is actually useful and a contribution to my own opinion and position in an especific topic or subject.
